So So Gay – 'irresistible electro pop'
Coma Coast recently released their anticipated EP Fail Better / Last Song through esteemed label Parissi La Musique Records (My Dear / CatCat) on 7th July. The second in a series of three EPs, their breakthrough 1989/The Ritual in February saw the electro troupe receive widespread airplay from the likes of BBC Radio 1Xtra to France's Radio Nova.
Made up of London-based singer / DJ Mariano Robles and Venezuelan producer / DJ Rey Morales, the duo continue to cut their brooding brand of electro-pop; blending the synthesized sounds of Pet Shop Boys and Depeche Mode with the polished production of Azari and III, Hercules and Love Affair and Planningtorock.
Meeting in Caracas in 2012, Coma Coast have honed their live sound in the cities of London, Paris and Tokyo, and are now set to meet 2014 with the release of their three-part EP series, followed by a debut album next year.
